Expo Stories AB values your personal privacy, which means that we always collect and handle personal information responsibly and with your privacy in mind. This privacy policy explains how we collect and use your personal information when you use our mobile app (”Expo Pay”) and all websites under the Expo Stories AB umbrella. It also describes your rights and how you can enforce them. 

 

What information do we collect? 

The personal data we process about you depends on which of Expo Stories apps you use and which data you share with us. Below we have provided information about which data Expo Stories’ apps and websites process, why this data is processed and how long it is stored. 

  

Usage data 

If you use Expo Stories app Expo Pay, your user data is processed in the device (eg your mobile phone) on which the current app is installed in order for you to have the best possible user experience. This concerns information about your device’s operating system, when the app was last opened, any crashes, etc. The treatment is based on a balance of interests as a legal basis, where Expo Stories’ legitimate interest is to offer good products to its users. 

  

Access to device features 

On the device (for example your mobile phone) on which the current app is installed, the app can request access to various functions: 

  

Notifications: to view notifications from the app 

Read and write in storage space: to view files, they are temporarily stored in an app-specific storage space 

  

Who can Expo Stories AB share your information with? 

Expo Stories AB may transfer your personal data to the suppliers that Expo Stories AB uses for, among other things, storage, development and optimization of apps. Expo Stories AB may also transfer collected data to Corego and Klarna. These suppliers are responsible for the payment functionality in the app. 

  

These recipients only have the right to process your personal data on behalf of Expo Stories AB in connection with them performing a service for Expo Stories AB. Expo Stories AB takes all reasonable legal, technical and organizational measures to ensure that your data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection when transferring to, or sharing with, such selected third parties. 

  

Where do we store your personal information? 

We always strive to process your data within the EU / EEA. However, in some situations the data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside the EU / EEA by another supplier or subcontractor. As Expo Stories AB is determined to always protect your data, Expo Stories AB will take all reasonable legal, technical and organizational measures to ensure that your data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection comparable to and at the same level as the protection offered within the EU / EES. 

  

How long do we store your personal information? 

We store your information for as long as is necessary to carry out our obligations to you and as long as required by statutory retention periods or necessary by other legitimate interests.  

  

What are your rights? 

You have the following rights regarding the personal data we have about you. 

  

Get access to the personal data that is processed 

You have the right to know what personal data we process about you. Indicate clearly in your request what information you want to receive from us. The information is free. 

  

Request correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data 

You have the right to request correction of your personal data. It is important that the information we process about you is correct. If you change your telephone number, e-mail address and other contact information or discover that the information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct it. 

 

Request deletion 

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data (the right to be ”forgotten”) if the data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. However, there may be requirements on us – both contractually and legally – that prevent us from deleting your personal data. 

  

Restriction of processing of personal data 

In certain situations, you have the right to request that we temporarily restrict the processing of your personal data. 

  

Data transfer / data portability 

You have the right to receive personal information that you have provided to us, in a machine-readable format. If it is technically possible, which is decided by us, you also have the opportunity to have your personal data transferred to another personal data controller. 

  

Complaint? 

If you believe that we process your personal data in violation of current data protection legislation, we of course want you to tell us, the easiest way to do this is by contacting kontakt@expostories.se. You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Privacy Protection Authority. 

   

Changes in the policy 

We constantly strive to improve and develop our services and therefore reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any time. The date when the latest changes were published is always shown in the footer below.
